Alpine Oxygen Description of Usage and Disclaimer

Oxygen therapy by way of Oxygen Concentrators is intended for the prevention and relief of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), also known as Altitude Sickness. No medical claims or cures are guaranteed.

Oxygen delivered by way of non-rebreather mask or nasal cannula has proven to be highly effective for treating the symptoms of AMS.

Recommended usage: During hours of sleep when breathing is shallow and when symptoms are their worst and during the day as symptoms dictate.

The fact that OXYGEN IS A DRUG which as been sold to him/her (by way of oxygen concentrator) with a prescription and will abide by the instructions of the prescription.

Events related to the fact that OXYGEN IS A HIGHLY FLAMMABLE GAS.THERE CANNOT BE ANY SOURCE OF FIRE WITHIN THE SAME ROOM AS THE OXYGEN CONCENTRATOROR ANY OF ITS PARTS, SUCH AS TUBINGS AND/OR MASK/NASAL CANNULA. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: ANY FORM OF SMOKING

(CIGARETTE, CIGARS, PIPES OR OTHER); ANY ELECTRIC, GAS OR WOOD HEATING OR COOKING DEVICES, ANY LIGHTERS OR MATCHES.

Events related to the fact that the oxygen concentrator CANNOT BE USED IN COMBINATION WITH OTHER SOURCES OF OXYGEN, such as oxygen tanks or other concentrators.

Events related to the fact that the oxygen concentrator is intended for private use in the home only. Purchaser is expected to be solely responsible for use of the oxygen concentrator by individuals he/she chooses, AND THE MEDICAL PRESCIPTIONS THAT THESE INDIVIDUALS WILL REQUIRE IN ORDER TO USE THE OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR.

Early rental returns are subject to a 50% charge of the remaining rental agreement.

Purchaser is responsible for the return of rentals, and will be charged the full retail sales amount on equipment that is not returned or for equipment that is damaged.
